Who qualifies as an Intern?
Undergraduate or graduate students (Masters or PhD) who are enrolled on at least a half-time basis at an accredited college or university, or who have graduated within six (6) months of the internship opportunity. Typically, a student should have achieved sophomore status before being considered for an assignment.
A student may be required to provide proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university program upon request prior to employment. Candidates currently on student visas, (F-1, J or Practical Training), are also encouraged to apply.
Where are Internships located?
Internship opportunities are offered throughout many Synopsys offices worldwide. Available locations include, but are not limited to, Mountain View, CA; Hillsboro, OR; Bangalore, India; Asia-Pac; and various locations in Europe.
What opportunities are offered?
Students may find opportunities in Infrastructure areas such as Information Technology, Enterprise Information Systems, Finance, Legal, Marketing or Human Resources. Research and Development opportunities can be found in the areas of Software Engineering, IP, Verification, Test, Timing, Synthesis, Design for Manufacturing, FPGA or Mixed Signal/Analog.
How long is an Internship?
Average duration of an Internship is three (3) months. Synopsys offers Internship opportunities throughout the year, with most position available in the summer.
